Toshio Suzuki niega los rumores de una adaptación de acción real de Nausicaä

El cofundador y productor de Studio Ghibli, Toshio Suzuki, apareció el pasado 25 de abril como invitado en el programa Bokura no Jidai de Fuji TV. Durante la entrevista negó que existan planes para hacer una adaptación del manga y película Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind de 1984, a pesar del interés de varios directores de renombre.

Además de Suzuki en el programa estuvieron el actor Hidetaka Yoshioka y la cantautora Aimyon. Yoshioka, un fan declarado de Studio Ghibli, mencionó haber escuchado que el director Takashi Yamazaki estaba interesado en adaptar Nausicaä a la acción real.

Suzuki confirmó que si bien había estado en contacto con Yamazaki, tuvo que rechazar su propuesta y que también tuvo que decir que no a Hideaki Anno. Cuando Aimyon comentó que "todo el mundo" quiere una versión de acción real de Nausicaä, Suzuki contestó con una sonrisa sarcástica que "la única persona que no quiere hacerlo es Hayao Miyazaki..."
